Join A.M. Homes, one of the most original and incisive writers of her generation, for a hands-on workshop on the hill.
What does your life look like when you stop trying to narrate it and simply draw it? In this intimate and exploratory workshop, the acclaimed novelist A.M. Homes invites participants to map where they are now, where they’ve come from, and where they may be heading—using color, shape, instinct, and conversation rather than polished prose.
Working with large sheets of poster board, colored pencils, and markers, participants will create visual self-portraits of their lives in motion. The workshop is less about artistic skill than about discovery: drawing first, then talking together about what emerges, what surprises, and what the exercise reveals about memory, direction, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are.
Playful, searching, and unexpectedly illuminating, Drawing Your Life offers a chance to step outside ordinary narrative.
Tickets include a complimentary glass of cider.
